We have been in class for Jamaica for three days. I never thought that we can cram the entire history of a country or of a group of people in 3 days. 2 faculty advisors, two undergraduate students, 10 graduate students. I will say that we have learned a ton! Jamaica has an unbelievable rich history and culture.

We also had a visit from a professor here at GVSU who is from Jamaica...he was AWESOME! I would have loved a full day of just his lecturing. He is like a classically trained orator, and just draws you in. Thanks for the visit Dr. Steve Buckridge!
