And were waiting around for the next flight. Nothing was different. I was in the airport.
When we finally left Miami, I still was thinking that this was just another airplane trip. After staying up for 24 hours, I was going in and out of sleep. I awoke to a flight attendant handing me this slip to fill out for customs. It is very nerve wrecking to fill out official paperwork half asleep, there were lots of scratches on mine as I forgot how to spell student for a moment.

We are so close!!!! |
We flew straight over Cuba which was strange to think an entire civilization is below us right now. Maybe somewhat metaphoric or not, there were drastically dark clouds and skies under us so I couldn't really see anything in Cuba. And what seemed like FOREVER!!! (okay it was like an hour flight) I could see the landmass ahead. Ever so slightly. Only a few things were illuminated on the coastal line. But they traveled all around the island. It was strange to think that I could see an entire country over head.
So i just talked to someone from here her name is Daesine! I will finish this later!
Peace!

Back again! It took forever to get off the plane when we landed in Jamaica and of course I was in literally the last seat you could be on in the plane. 46f! And when we were finally able to get off the plane, we we're herded like chattel into a series of twists and turns . I made quick friends with a couple from Maryland who was just as confused as I. After a series of confusing questions, I got into Jamaica. We were met by a driver Mr. Danavan and he was great. The bus was packed but we were happy he knows how to drive quickly on the wrong side of the rode. After three hours in the car and a quick stop for jerk chicken, we made it to Taino Cove! Happy as a clam as I had a perfect night swim!
